Ancells Farm nature reserve is a site of special scientific interest, renowned for its great varieties of flora and fauna. Best time to visit: June to September to see lizards on the boardwalk, sundews on the scrapes, dragonflies and damselflies hunting over the pond and beautiful flowering orchids. OS Map Reference - SU 824 557. Two parking spaces. Further parking at Ancells Farm Community Centre. No charge but donations are welcome. Cattle grazing. Dogs must be kept on leads.
