Blackwater Valley Countryside Trust
About
The Blackwater Valley Countryside Trust organise regular opportunities for people to volunteer on conservation work to protect and manage the Valley's natural landscape. Joining a conservation working party has many benefits - your chance to make a real contribution to local conservation; a good way to stay fit and healthy; educational and a great opportunity to meet new friends who share your love of nature. The Blackwater Valley Countryside Partnership organises the monthly volunteer programme of practical conservation tasks in the Valley. No previous experience is required and volunteers will work alongside Partnership rangers. Trust volunteers run other events to showcase the Blackwater Valley - details on their web-site and social media.
About Blackwater Valley Countryside Trust
The Blackwater Valley countryside area runs for approximately 30km between Aldershot and Swallowfield along the borders of the English counties of Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey. Work in the Blackwater Valley is co-ordinated by the Blackwater Valley Countryside Partnership on behalf of the local authorities that border the Valley. The Blackwater Valley Countryside Trust is a separate charity that supports the promotion of the Blackwater Valley area, manages conservation volunteer teams, runs walks/events and holds a small grant scheme for other groups/organisations.
