About
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Hampshire County Council and Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service have worked in partnership to develop the Falls Friends programme.
Falls Friends offer talks to explain the causes of falls and how to reduce your risk of falling (or someone you care for). The talks last one hour and are for anyone interested in helping to prevent someone from falling, including how to reduce your own risk of falling. and are are led by the Specialist Falls Prevention Team.
Please contact the Specialist Falls Prevention Team via telephone/email to find out when the next talks are taking place and to register. If existing session times are not convenient, they are able to offer bespoke sessions for nursing/care homes. They require a minimum of 6 participants. For more information, please contact via email.
