About

A broad range of activities, groups, meetings, events and visits are offered which are led by members' interests and include a variety of arts & crafts, languages, games, health & fitness and social. Courses are stimulating, physically beneficial and/or just good fun. It’s a club for ‘recreation, education and companionship’.

Monthly meetings are held on 3rd Wednesday each month from 10.45-12.15 at The Harlington, Fleet.
Groups meet on week days 10.00-12.00 and 14.00-16.00 using venues in and around Fleet (with breaks over Christmas, Easter and the summer holidays), occasional sessions (eg computing) 16.00-18.00.

About u3a - Fleet & District

Are you retired or semi-retired from full-time employment? Or looking to stretch your mind, extend your social life and have fun? Fleet U3A may just be what you are looking for. Fleet U3A is part the Third Age Trust. No qualifications are required to join and no qualifications are given. Anyone who is retired or semi-retired can join. Everyone has something to contribute and group leaders are usually volunteers with an interest in a particular topic.

User Cost/Charge Information
Annual membership fee is £14. Most groups make a small additional charge (£1.00 or £1.50 per meeting depending on the length of the session) to cover the cost of venue hire, printed matter and other expenses. A higher charge may apply if an external tutor or speaker is used.
