FPS runs a regular volunteer group on a Friday carrying out tasks such as repairing fencing, paths, bridges, platforms and boardwalks; clearing saplings from the dry heath areas and reedbeds; sprucing up picnic benches and a myriad of other activities.

About Fleet Pond Society

Formed in 1976, Fleet Pond Society (FPS) is a voluntary group working in partnership with Hart Countryside Services to protect and manage Fleet Pond Nature Reserve, a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

User Cost/Charge Information
The Society is supported by its membership through the small annual subscription of £10 per household. New members are very welcome, subscriptions support the work we do around the Pond. You don’t have to join in with our conservation work, but are very welcome if you would like to.
