New to bowls? The Club holds a number of Open Days throughout the year when they welcome people to come and try bowls and provide all the necessary equipment. Please enquire for more information.

Coaching is free and available at Fleet United Bowling Club for players of all ages and level of ability. Coaching is mutually arranged to suit time and rink availability. New bowlers are encouraged to participate in the Club's Wednesday afternoon roll-up to hone their skills, and they will also be encouraged to take part in weekend friendlies against other clubs.

About Fleet United Bowling Club

Fleet United Bowling Club is a small friendly club with a membership of around 90 with the aim of bringing the enjoyment of bowls to players of all levels, young and old, in a friendly and welcoming environment.

The outdoor season starts around mid-April and ends mid-September. During that time the club plays over 30 friendly matches against other clubs usually at the weekends. In these games bowlers of all abilities are invited to take part. Bowls being a social game it is important to mention most matches involve a light snack and if you wish, a soft or alcoholic drink from the well stocked bar. During the colder months, the Club has the facilities for short-mat bowls in its clubhouse.

The Club's social Calendar includes coffee mornings during the winter on the first Saturday of every month at the club, and other events on a Saturday such as a Quiz night, games evening, skittles evening and a canal trip during the Summer.

Full Membership 2024 - Full members can play outside and short mat. (£115.00). New Members 2024 - A price concession is given to new members in the first year from the full price of (£115.00). Short Mat Member 2024 - Short Mat members can only play short mat not outside (£70.00). Junior Member 2024 - Under 18 years old (FREE). Social Member 2024 - Social members can join all non bowls events (£12.00).
