Macular Society Support Groups
About
Macular Society groups provide information and support to those with macular disease, their family and friends. Groups provide a welcoming and compassionate place to learn about the support available, build your confidence, and better understand your own macular disease. And, of course, it is a chance to make new friends who really understand what sight loss is like. Local support groups include Farnborough, Farnham and Camberley. See website for more details.
To join a group, or confirm if a specific group is meeting face to face or by telephone, please phone the groups admin team on 01264 560 259.
Other types of support groups include telephone groups and those for working age and young people. There are also online support groups specific to particular types of macular disease.
