Leapfrogs provide Early Years Childcare for children aged 2 years 9 months to statutory school age. The children attending the pre-school typically come from Odiham and the surrounding villages, including South Warnborough, North Warnborough, Greywell and Long Sutton. They have a close relationship with both Long Sutton and Buryfields Infant School and being the main feeder pre-school helps ensure a smooth and happy transition into Reception Year.

The pre-school can admit up to 30 children in each session. They run 2 classrooms and offer a variety of start and finish times, with the option for children to attend their Grant hours free of charge, or add extra hours/sessions, as well as the option to stay all day.

Opening times are Monday to Friday 8.35am - 2.50pm during term time.
3 hour sessions are provided in the mornings and afternoons and 6 hours 20 minutes day care (once children are over 3 and there is availability). They require children to attend a minimum of 2 sessions per week (over 2 days, not 1 full day) to enable them to settle in.

Visits can be arranged by contacting their office and to request a place at the pre-school, a completed application form and registration fee is required (this fee will be returned in full once your child starts).

About Odiham Community Pre-School (Leapfrogs)

At Leapfrogs your children will learn through play (colours, numbers, shapes, etc). Children can choose between creative free play, painting, playing with sand and water, senses tables, dressing up or exploring the garden. There are regular cooking activities, musical instruments and story time.

Leapfrogs is a community run pre-school, providing high quality education. They are run by an unpaid Management Committee of dedicated parents, alongside paid, highly qualified professional teaching staff and their aim is to deliver the highest quality of care and education to help them to achieve their best. As a ‘community’ pre-school they are very family orientated and parental involvement is expected and welcomed. Special events are held throughout the year where the whole family are invited to attend.

User Cost/Charge Information
The current fees, which are payable if your child is below grant age (2 years up to the term after their 3rd birthday) or for sessions over and above the 15 free hours offered by the Government are:
Per hour £8.00
3 hour session £24.00
6 hour session £48.00

A small termly donation (recommended donation is £29.50 per term) to help us to provide the children with adequate consumables and extras that are needed for their many varied activities and special events.
