Children from 2 years to school age can attend Potley Hill Early Years. The pre-school is an accredited Curiosity Approach setting ('Be Curious, Have Fun, Make a Difference' – is a modern day approach to Early Childhood. Taking parts from Reggio, Steiner, Te Whāriki with a sprinkle of Montessori). Additional services offered are an after School Club for children up to age 6, Holiday Clubs for children aged 2 – 6 and Ad Hoc sessions can be arranged for one off bookings (subject to availability)

Opening hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm daily during term time with the following start and end times:

Breakfast Club: 8:00–8:30 (includes cereal and toast)
Mornings: 8:30 am-11:30 am
Lunch Club: 11:30 am-12:30 pm (children bring a packed lunch or may book a 2-course hot lunch)
Afternoons: 12:30 pm-3:30 pm
Extended hours: 3:30 pm-6:00 pm (bookable in half hour chunks to suit your requirements)

About Potley Hill Community Pre-School

Potley Hill Community Preschool is a registered charity, managed by a committee. Located on the Frogmore Community Campus on Reading Road, it is easily accessible for families living in Yateley, Blackwater, Sandhurst, Hawley and the surrounding areas. There is plenty of on-site parking to help with drop off and pick-up.

They welcome children from 2 years to school age and provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment in which your child can learn and develop. Using the Curiosity Approach, the setting is set up with authentic resources and provocations to spark and encourage imaginative play. They have extensive use of the campus grounds for walks and good links with Potley Hill Primary school, Frogmore College, and Frogmore Day Centre.

User Cost/Charge Information
Government funding can be obtained once your child turns two, if certain criteria are met. After your child has turned three, you will be eligible for Government Funding. There is an online eligibility checker at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

The hourly fee is £7.30 (or free if eligible for government funding subsidy) plus 70p per hour for all hours attended.*
Breakfast club includes breakfast and costs £3.65*.
Lunch club does not include food (children bring a packed lunch) and costs £7.30*. A 2-course hot lunch may be booked for £3.95.
(Fees are subject to change from time to time when reviewed by the Committee).
*Additional charge for the Parent Plus Programme

There is a non-refundable booking fee of £60 payable on application.
