About

The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare Recovery College takes an educational approach to equip you with the knowledge and skills to get on with your life, despite mental illness. The skills learned are relevant to all of us whether we are health professionals, service users, or carers – The Recovery College welcomes all. The Recovery College is based within the adult mental health services of the Trust, and is part of a national chain of Recovery Colleges, aiming to help increase awareness and understanding of recovery and self-management whilst challenging stigma related to mental health. The Recovery College offers educational courses about mental health recovery and self-management to complement existing services.

To register your interest or to join one or more of the courses, please enter your details via the weblink below. Courses are currently mostly delivered online or in-person (mainly in Southampton).

Recovery College Induction - Every student is required to complete this short online course before they proceed with their Recovery College
journey. The Induction will take you through all the basic information you will need to get started and show you where to access information to help you get the most out of your time at The Recovery College.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare Recovery College is open to Hampshire residents aged 18 years+ registered with eligible GP surgeries. For Hart, the eligible GP practices are: Odiham Health Centre and Whitewater Health (Hartley Wintney & Hook).
