About

Features of all of Sport in Mind's sessions:
• Open to anyone aged 17+ experiencing and mental health problem (anywhere on the scale) or are a carer
• You can be referred, self-referred and self-diagnosed with no need for an assessment
• Equipment provided, but you can bring your own if you would like
• Open to any ability with no previous experience needed
• No need to book and the sessions are completely drop-in
• Run 50 weeks of the year (or as close too), same time, same place, same coach.
• Friends, family, carers, support workers etc are able to attend and support you in getting involved
• You do not need to be from the area to access the session, it is one form and you can take part in any of 135+ sessions offered by Sport in Mind across South England & Wales

Fleet: NEW (starting 24.02.2025): Mondays 16.00-17.00: Pickleball - Hart Leisure Centre, Emerald Avenue, Fleet, GU51 5HS (free parking)

About Sport in Mind

Sport in Mind is an independent mental health charity with a simple mission too improve the lives of people experiencing mental health problems through sport and physical activity. The charity leads on the delivery of physical activity projects in partnership with the NHS in order to promote mental wellbeing, improve physical health, combat social isolation and empower people to move their lives forward in a positive direction. Their work is delivered to support the recovery of people with mental health problems in the community and also inpatient care as they believe that everyone should have the opportunity to take part in sport and physical activity irrespective of how unwell they are. The charity operates across the south east of England.
