St. Michael’s Hospice is available within the Basingstoke and North Hampshire region.

Services include the following:
In-Patient Unit consists of 10 individual-bedded, ensuite rooms with a sophisticated nurse call system. All rooms are comfortably furnished to a high standard and their aim is to create a homely atmosphere with easy access to the garden areas.

Hospice at Home team offers patients and carers access to specialist advice and nursing visits. They work closely with other clinical professionals and care agencies in the community setting. This service is provided free of charge with the majority of funding coming from the support of the local community.

About St Michael's Hospice

Mission Statement: St. Michael's Hospice (North Hampshire) enables anyone faced with a life-limiting illness, their families and carers, to attain the highest possible quality of life by providing a choice of specialist care and support.

St. Michael's Hospice serves all of North Hampshire. The majority of patients who are referred to St. Michael's are suffering with cancer-related conditions, but care is also provided for those with other chronic life-limiting illnesses. Their clinical team works with patients to ensure they have the best possible quality of life, whether care is delivered by the Community Palliative Care Team or during a stay at the In-Patient Unit. The Community Palliative Care Team work in collaboration with community healthcare professionals to support and deliver patients' preferred choices in care.
