About

Tadpoles is a community run pre-school that is able to take a maximum of 24 children in any one session. The pre-school is situated in the grounds of Frogmore Infants School, with a self-contained classroom at one corner of the school. The pre-school offers children the opportunity to participate in Forest School sessions which are run by a qualified and experienced Forest School leader. Comprehensive risk-assessments are carried out in order to ensure the safety of their Forest School site and all activities offered to the children. This allows the children to become truly immersed in the Forest School approach, and to take risks in a safe and secure environment.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday 8.15 - 16.00
There is some flexibility to the session times (an example of a day at Tadpoles is available on the website).

Early club 8.15-8.45
Morning session 8.45-11.30
Lunch time 11.45-12.30
Afternoon session 14.30-14.45/15.30

Visits to the pre-school can be arranged by contacting the office.

At Tadpoles they make learning fun and creative so that your children don’t even realise they are learning but instead find themselves getting involved with messy play and creative learning that will keep them smiling and enjoying pre-school from start to finish. They believe that pre-school is the most important part of learning and they make sure that every child is given the best start that they can by nurturing them through their senses and enabling them to be leaders from the beginning.

User Cost/Charge Information
Government funding can be obtained once your child turns two, if certain criteria are met. After your child has turned three, you will be eligible for Government Funding. There is an online eligibility checker at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
