About

Children can attend the pre-school from the age of 2 years 6 months until they are 5 years old. You choose between morning sessions, afternoon sessions or the whole day which runs from 8.45 a.m - 3.15 p.m. The pre-school accommodates a maximum of 30 children in one session.

Opening hours Monday – Friday 8.45am – 3.15pm during term time

Session times are (minimum requirement of three sessions):
Morning session (without lunch) 8.45am – 11.45am
Morning session (with lunch) 8.45am – 12.45pm
Afternoon session (without lunch) 12.45pm – 3.15pm
Full day session 8.45am – 3.15pm

For children attending lunchtime sessions, a cooked school lunch is offered at a small cost. Alternatively, parents and carers can provide a healthy packed lunch from home.

Situated within pleasant school grounds on the Calthorpe Park Estate in Fleet, Tavistock pre-school offers children the highest quality of pre-school care. It is a small, friendly, committee-led pre-school and their aim is to provide safe, happy and nurturing surroundings where all children and their families are valued and respected as unique individuals. User Cost/Charge Information
The hourly fee is £6.75 per hour (or free if eligible for government funding subsidy).

Government funding can be obtained once your child turns two, if certain criteria are met. After your child has turned three, you will be eligible for Government Funding. They also accept Childcare Vouchers. Cooked school lunches are currently priced £3.20 per meal (subject to change).

A starter pack fee of £30 per child or £40 for twins is required to join the waiting list to attend the pre-school
