The Vine Church

About

The Vine Church meets on Sundays at the Old School in Odiham at 10.00, and also at Church Crookham Community Centre at 10.00. During the week, they meet in small groups in homes around Odiham on Wednesday or Thursday evenings, and a group for older members that meets in the afternoon, and one for teenagers on Sunday evenings. The Kid's Club meet in schools in the Fleet area during lunchtime.

Church Crookham Community Centre is also the base for most the church's youth clubs:
-Kids' Club meet once a month on Fridays 4.15-5.30pm and is for children in school years R-4
-Adventurers meet fortnightly on Fridays 5.45-7.15pm and is for children in school years 5-6
-FYG meet every Friday 7.30-9.30pm and is for children in school years 7-13

The Old School offers space that can be hired out for other community activity. Additional regular activity which takes place at the Old School is: The B-Group - new mums support group; Little Stars toddler group for under 3's; the monthly Ladies Cappucino Coffee Club, and the weekly Sunflower Dementia Cafe (see separate entry). The Odiham Health Walk also starts and finishes at the Old School on Thursday afternoons (see Hart Health Walks entry).

The Vine Church is a lively family Church with a Baptist history going back to 1877. They do not claim to be better than other churches, or to have all the answers. What unites them is a desire to serve God in this place. Their vision is to be: a vibrant church, a training base, a leading force for good in the community and a church for the world.
