Wessex Chamber Choir is a friendly group who genuinely enjoy singing and socializing together. They are currently looking to welcome new voices into the choir and have some vacancies available. While a reasonable ability to sight-read is a plus, it is not essential. Rehearsals on Thursday evenings at St John's Church, Hook, 20.00-21.30.
The Wessex Chamber Choir are available to sing at weddings and other services in the Surrey - Hampshire - Berkshire area. They have a very wide repertoire and are happy to help you choose music for your special service.

About Wessex Chamber Choir

The Wessex Chamber Choir was founded in 1990 under the musical direction of Nicholas Woods, who established the choir as a versatile and accomplished vocal ensemble. The choir consists of around 20 mixed voices. Members come from a variety of musical backgrounds and live in Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire. They meet weekly in Hook to rehearse throughout the year and perform in a variety of venues across the region. In addition, they visit cathedrals around the country several times each year to take part in services in the absence of their resident choir.
