About Friends of Basingbourne Park

Friends of Basingbourne Park are a group of local residents who are keen to support the regeneration of the park. The group has the following objectives: To work towards maintaining and improving Basingbourne Park for the benefit of the local community; to promote the preservation and maintenance of Basingbourne Park woodlands and to promote their use as a public amenity and as a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC); and to encourage increased use of the park as a focus for community activities. Since the group was started, they have collated a variety of ideas for improvements in the park. Friends of Basingbourne Park is a non-profit organisation made up of local residents who wish to make a difference to the park and ensure that it is utilised as best as possible. By joining the group for £2.50 per individual or £5.00 for a family per calendar year, you will be helping FOBP to continue with their work. Membership fees are used to cover their modest overheads and administration costs and provide insurance cover for working parties, action days and social events. Members can hire the table tennis in the pavilion for a donation to the group with a suggested amount of £5 per session. Two adults are needed to set up the table.
