Delivered by Andover Mind
If you’re experiencing a mental health crisis or emotional distress, our North & Mid Hampshire Safe Haven service provides out of hours help and support to adults including carers. The Safe Haven is open evenings, including weekends and bank holidays, 365 days a year. Opening hours: 18.00-22.00.
It is advised that everyone should ring ahead before visiting so that staff can be prepared for their arrival. The number to call is 0300 303 5772.
Anyone who is unable to visit the Safe Haven in person can access support via telephone on the freephone number. A member of staff will call you back and give you the opportunity to talk through your situation and the next steps.
Andover Mind started out as the Andover Mental Health Club and gradually grew in size and membership. It become affiliated to national Mind in 1986 and subsequently obtained charitable status. The charity has been in its current premises in Andover since 1994 and have made significant improvements to the building to make it a friendly and welcoming space. In recent years, the charity has considerably widened its reach to meet the mental health needs of Hampshire residents and now runs services throughout Hampshire. For Hart residents, current services include the Hart and Rushmoor Wellbeing centre aimed at adults of all ages dealing with mental health issues with a base in Farnborough, and outreach throughout the two districts, and the Carer Support and Dementia Advice Service.
