Community Centres: Yateley

About

Yateley Town Council has three community centres for hire to individuals and organisations:

Activities at these venues often include: pilates, yoga, dance, choir, youth club, craft groups, older adults exercise, older adults social, toddler activities.

Venues for Hire:
* Monteagle Community Centre & Committee Room - the Monteagle Community Centre is ideal for children’s parties, classes and meetings. This hall is conveniently located near a range of shops, with plenty of parking and a fully accessible entrance. Monteagle Committee Room is also available to hire. As a smaller, budget-friendly space upstairs in Monteagle Community Centre with tables and chairs available, it is the ideal space for meetings.
* Darby Green Centre - the Darby Green Centre is a great space located next to a vast playing field and large car park. With fully accessible entry, kitchen facilities and a large hall with adjoining outdoor space, it’s an ideal facility for social gatherings, coffee clubs, classes and meetings.
* The Tythings Gallery Room - the Gallery Room at The Tythings is a light open space, perfect for parties, classes and meetings. The Gallery Room is located upstairs in The Tythings, accessible by stairs or lift. The kitchen, car park and availability of tables and chairs available make it ideal for every requirement.

Please contact Yateley Town Council for rates for registered charities. For one-off bookings a minimum hire of three hours must be taken. These halls are not suitable for teenage or 21st birthday parties.

About Yateley Town Council

Yateley Town Council exisits to serve and represent the views of the people of Yateley, Frogmore and Darby Green. Yateley has 5 parish wards: Yateley Green, Tudor and Vigo, Yateley Village, Frogmore and Darby Green and Potley Hill. The town is represented by 13 councillors and regular meetings are held throughout the year (calendar of meeting is on their web-site). They have a number of halls and meeting rooms for hire in their 3 community venues - The Tythings, the Monteagle Community Centre, and the Darby Green Centre. Yateley Town Council is responsible for many of the area's open spaces, outdoor sports facilities (tennis and basketball courts), and all of the playgrounds. Yateley Town Council is also responsible for Swan Lake allotments and Heathlands Cemetery.
