About

One of the few examples of woodland pasture outside the New Forest and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Top 10 species found at Odiham Common: forester moth, white letter hairstreak butterfly, veteran oaks, adders, fox, grass snake, badgers, roe deer, various fungi, slimes, water avens. Free parking at Colt Hill Wharf car park (Colt Hill, Odiham, Hook RG29 1AL). Dog friendly. Surfaced and unsurfaced paths - the Common is not suitable for disabled or pushchair access unless ground conditions are very dry. Basingstoke Canal runs along the boundary. Wildflower meadow is connected Broad Oak Common (via bridge over canal).
