Permits/day tickets for fishing on the Basingstoke Canal are available from the following shops in Hart: Tackle Up, 151 Fleet Road, Fleet, GU51 3PD and Yateley Angling Centre, The Parade, 44 Reading Road, Yateley, GU46 7UN. Members of Hartley Wintney Angling Society and Farnbough and District Angling Society also have access to fishing on the Basingstoke Canal via their club affiliation to the Basingstoke Canal Angling Association. Day tickets also available bankside from fishing bailiffs.
About Basingstoke Canal Angling Association
The Basingstoke Canal Angling Association manages fishing permits along the whole length of the Basingstoke Canal. The Association is made up of Angling Clubs in Hampshire and Surrey that all have a common interest in fishing from the towpath of the picturesque Basingstoke Canal. Membership currently stands at 29 clubs including the Hartley Wintney Angling Society, as well as individual members.
